Commission Guidelines

When commissioning to create artwork, please provide the requested details outlined below and adhere to my terms of service.
I am currently only accepting payment through PayPal.

COMMISSION FORM:
1) Type of commission --- Use my listed options as a guideline. I am open to ideas that may not fit these options.
2) Description of character(s) physical appearance and/or visual references (photos, model sheets, etc.)
3) Description of the situation (character expressions, poses, etc.)
4) Description and/or visual references of background scenery (if any)
5) Your PayPal email

I WILL NOT ACCEPT COMMISSIONS WITHOUT PROPER REFERENCE MATERIALS OR SUFFICIENTLY-DETAILED DESCRIPTIONS.
Be straightforward and thorough with your descriptions, but only convey relevant visual information, please. Any unspecified details will be left up to my own interpretation, and all revisions required due to your lack of explanation or misinformation must be compensated.

Types of Commissions

A commission must depict at least 1 subject (character, animal, vehicle, etc.).
Each additional subject adds +50% to the listed price.
A full illustration (i.e. detailed scenery) adds +100% to the listed price.

HOW IT WORKS

STEP 1
You send me a completed commission form. I will provide a price estimate for your idea.STEP 2
You make a partial payment upfront before I start working on your commission. The exact payment will depend on the complexity of your commission. I will send you an invoice through PayPal. This payment will cover the time and effort needed to create the initial rough sketch. It assures that you are serious about doing business with me and indicates that you indeed have sufficient funds to pay for your commission.STEP 3
I make a sketch and send it to you within 1 week. If you have a deadline for your commission, let me know, and I will determine whether I will be able to meet that deadline.STEP 4
Once the sketch has been approved, I will send you an invoice through PayPal for the remaining cost. After you have paid, I will proceed with the final artwork.
PLEASE HAVE SUFFICIENT FUNDS BEFORE REQUESTING A COMMISSION! I do not tolerate late payments. If you are unable to pay the remaining cost, your commission will be immediately discontinued.STEP 5
Be prepared to wait for the final artwork. I typically deliver within 1-2 weeks after payment has been made, but particularly complex commissions may take longer.
I may send you intermediate work steps so that you can request corrections if necessary.
Significant and/or numerous revisions will require additional compensation.STEP 6
I may post your commission on social media and/or include it in my online portfolio. Please specify whether you do not want me to do so. Otherwise, I will assume you do not mind.

Terms of Service

Alexander Jonson may henceforth be referred to as “I” or ”me”, the paying customer party is referred to as “you”, and the commission service and/or product may be referred to as “my work”.- All preparation materials, visuals, and sketches, including all electronic files used to create the project, remain the property of Alexander Johnson.
- I can refuse any commission for any reason (or lack of), even if that commission complies with my terms of service.
- Listed prices are estimates and are therefore subject to individual adjustment depending on workload intensity.
- These prices are not for corporate or otherwise commercial advertising use. You must tell me if you plan on making merchandise featuring my work. I will adjust my prices accordingly.
- Price haggling will not be tolerated.
- My work may not be resold.
- You may not trace or modify my work unless you have my explicit written permission. If approved, augmented pieces cannot be published to social media.
- By commissioning me, you understand that I may take artistic liberties.
- No refunds or exchanges under any circumstances.
- You DO NOT have the right to mint or sell the commission for NFT.
- You DO NOT have the right to use my work to train any Artificial Intelligence.
- By sending payment and thereby commissioning me, you acknowledge that you have both read and agree to these terms.

I CAN DRAW:
- A variety of animals (mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians in any form – anthro, furry, or feral)
- Humans
- A variety of costumes and settings (I am most familiar with Medieval/fantasy)
- Fan art (I prefer fan characters rather than official characters)
- Scenes of mild violence and battle scenes, but no excessive gore (exposed entrails, copious bleeding, etc.)

I WILL NOT DRAW:
- Fetishes and kinks
- Pornography
- Explicit nudity (i.e. depictions of genitalia) --- I prefer that all non-feral and non-toony characters wear clothing. Non-explicit nudity may be acceptable depending on the context.
- Ideologically sensitive material (vulgar language, offensive gestures, etc.)
- Non-canonical couples or romantic shippings of characters
